About the Artist
Each of my handcrafted one-twelfth scale flowering and foliage plants is a one-of-a-kind original -- no two are ever exactly alike. Each leaf is cut, shaped and painted by hand. Because each plant - including limited editions - is individually made and assembled, there are always slight variations in color, size and arrangement making each one unique. All my potted plants are signed and dated, and each plant has leaves that have browned spots to enhance realism; this has become the signature of my work. I have been making miniature plants since 1991 and achieved Artisan status in IGMA (International Guild of Miniature Artisans) in May, 1994. I was awarded Fellow status in March, 2001 and shortly thereafter joined IGMA's Board of Trustees. My pieces reside in museums and private collections around the world and have accessorized room boxes and conservatories by Brooke Tucker, Ray Whitledge and Lady Jane. On other pages of this website, you can also view selected items from my personal dollhouse and miniatures collection. Please bookmark this site and visit again, as new plants will be added as they are developed. Feel free to E-Mail any questions or comments you may have. Enjoy your visit, and thank you for stopping by! 2007 & 2008 Show & Class information Sincerely,
